Three months in. Here's what we've actually learned.
This campaign started as a way to describe what we do.
It's turned into something more useful.
After 12 weeks, the replies and messages have given us a clearer picture of what's actually out there.
The Access database scenario resonated more than anything else. Not just in local government - in small businesses, property management, professional services. The scenario is almost identical every time: built in the early 2000s, one person maintaining it, nobody wants to touch it.
The 'bridge, not burn' framing landed well with people who'd been told migration was all-or-nothing. That doesn't have to be the choice.
The industrial firmware post reached people we hadn't expected to reach. Manufacturing. Processing. Utilities. A niche - but a real one.
What we haven't covered yet - and will in the next three months: financial services, healthcare administration, the specific pressures in regulated environments.
We're still a small team. Legacymigrations is a group of independent practitioners - people with hands-on history in these systems, in IT management across Austrian banking and industry, and in the kind of systems work that actually involves opening things up rather than writing reports.
We work with your team. Not around them.
We don't arrive with a plan. We arrive with questions.
Tell us what we missed. We'll cover it in Month 4.
